I am a tailor from London having trained and worked on Savile Row at Maurice Sedwell as a cutter, tailor and teacher while also making coats and alterations for other tailor shops on and around Savile Row in a freelance capacity. I have decided to start my own company as the way I want to make clothes differs from Savile Row and it will allow me to create a bit more freedom with my family.

I am a one man band so I will measure, draft your pattern, cut, sew, make the tea or coffee and finish everything myself in London. No one else is involved in the process.

Style

The house style can be called that of the ‘Florentine’ cut which is where it is more known nowadays but was used once upon a time by tailors in England. It forgoes the typical dart at the front of the jacket and uses only a dart concealed by the arm. In doing so, this keeps the front of the jacket clean by not breaking up any pattern. I prefer a broad shoulder and a gently nipped waist, creating an elegant silhouette.

Process

I am by appointment only and preferably via an introduction.

The process takes around 6-12 months currently as I am busy (April 24) over the course of at least 3 fittings or until we are both happy. This can vary depending on your availability and how busy I could be.

I can visit you, arrange a fitting around Savile Row or you can visit me.

This includes most cloths apart from the finer ones like cashmeres, vicuna, camel, silks and Super 150’s plus, etc.

Any extra ‘bells and whistles’ may include an extra charge.

Pricing does not include payment of any custom duties/import charges that may occur with shipping to you.
